FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Retail electric supplier, Liberty Power, announced that David Hernandez, Chief Executive Officer, and Alberto Daire, Chief Operating Officer, are finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2010 Award in the State of Florida.  According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Hernandez and Daire co-founded Liberty Power in 2001 and have led the company on a consistent growth path.  They were selected as finalists from nearly 100 nominations by a panel of independent judges.  Award winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 10th at the Omni Orlando Resort.
