Legendary United States Congressman John Lewis To Headline Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Congressional Black Caucus Foundation "Real Talk Defining The Conscious Man Committed To Serve" Panel

The distinguished career of Congressman John Lewis will be lauded as he is inducted into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. 'Distinguished Service Chapter.' This honor is the highest award a member of the 103 years old community service organization can receive. The pinning ceremony will precede the "Real Talk Defining The Conscious Man Committed To Serve" Panel at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 901 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. It begins at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

The "Real Talk Defining The Conscious Man Committed To Serve" Panel will focus on elevating the call-to-action to those conscious men committed to impacting communities across the globe.  Under International President Cristal's leadership, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. has adopted the slogan," A Brotherhood Of Conscious Men Actively Serving Our Communities." PBS' members will demonstrate this commitment to service throughout the CBCF's Legislative Conference activities.

My overall goal is to lead our organization to be intentional in providing our members the tools and insights they will need to become better servants in our global community," said Micheal Cristal, International President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. "This panel discussion headlined by our Sigma brother, the Honorable Congressman John Lewis, during the Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference is the first one in a series of influencers forums, we plan on having during my tenure," Cristal added.
