"My time in the NFL definitely taught me about perseverance, dedication and leadership. These are qualities that are highly valued by Prospect Mortgage, and skills that I will use to create value and growth in my position at Prospect," said Mr. Williamson, who played for Houston from 1993-96.
Mr. Williamson will handle branch expansion and recruiting for Prospect throughout Georgia. He will be based out of Kennesaw, Georgia.
"Lee Williamson's background as a recruiter and an entrepreneur, along with his network of contacts within the mortgage industry that he built over the last 12 years, will contribute to Prospect's plans for growth in 2010. We also see a huge opportunity for business growth from the large amount of REO properties in the area. Prospect is the preferred lender for many REO asset holders, and as such, we can effectively help turn communities around by building up homeownership once again," said Jose Hidalgo, Southeast Regional Manager for Prospect Mortgage.
