Leblon Wins Double Gold Medal for 'Best Cachaca' at the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition

NEW YORK, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Leblon, producer of Brazil's handcrafted Cachaca (pronounced "ka-SHA-sa"), today announced that it won a Double Gold Medal for "Best Cachaca" at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.  Now in its 10th year, the competition was conducted at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco on March 13 and 14, 2010.  It is the first comprehensive, international spirits judging ever held in the U.S. on an annual basis and is based on an exacting blind tasting procedure.
