Combining the brevity of Twitter and the beauty of Pinterest, co-founders Geri Hirsch of BecauseImAddicted.net (Women's Wear Daily's "must bookmark" top 12 fashion sites) and Erin Falconer of PickTheBrain.com (Forbes' "100 Most Influential Websites for Women, 2013") offer stylish tutorials on everything from how to chop an onion, to tips on setting a great table and achieving the perfect bold lip.
"Being raised by a single mother made me figure out a lot on my own from a very young age. After graduating college, I realized that there wasn't a resource like generations past had relied on for all things how-to, so Erin and I wanted to find a way to bridge that gap," shares Hirsch.
In 2012, LEAF.tv released its three-part shoppable video series with retail industry leader Barneys. The duo also inked an ongoing syndication deal with Virgin America. StyleHaul—YouTube's biggest fashion network—also runs bi-monthly LEAF.tv videos, with each segment earning an average of 125,000 views. Now, potential shoppers and fans alike can purchase items while watching over 500 new and existing videos on LEAF.tv's new website along with collaborations with the likes of Brad Goreski, Whitney Port, Monica Rose, Joyce Bonelli, Jen Atkin, Stumptown Coffee, P.S. I Made This, and A Cozy Kitchen, to name a few.
"The current climate of the internet has channeled what I consider to be a new brand of feminism, where the ability to excel in and outside of the home is not only possible but highly revered and very stylish," concludes Falconer.
Released almost daily, renowned videos can be previewed weekly via Instagram @LEAFtv with high quality, insta-clips to further engage loyal fans. Check out exclusive behind-the-scenes content and get inspired at http://www.LEAF.tv.
