Laureate Summit Draws Global Leaders to Address Youth and Productivity in Mexico
BALTIMORE, Feb. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Distinguished international leaders, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Inter-American Development Bank President Luis Moreno and Mexico's Secretary of Public Education Emilio Chuayffet will gather today at the Coyoacán campus of Universidad del Valle de México — Mexico's largest private university — to discuss how to increase the nation's productivity.
The Laureate Summit on Youth and Productivity in Mexico will feature Douglas L. Becker, founder, chairman and CEO of Laureate Education, Inc., as well as regional business leaders, government officials, leading educators and major employers.
"As Mexico's economy continues to grow, so does the need for an education system that will help meet the demands of the 21st century workforce," Becker said.
