BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Lanx, Inc., a privately held medical device company focused on developing and commercializing innovative devices for spinal surgery, announced today that Michael DeMane has declined to assume the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and will assist the Company as a consultant. Dr. Jeffrey Thramann, Co-founder, will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors is conducting a search for a new Chief Executive Officer. In the interim, Dr. Thramann and the Company's executive team will lead Lanx. Dr. Thramann, Chairman and Co-founder, said, "Lanx has a strong and comprehensive product portfolio, a deep management team, substantial growth opportunities, and impressive technology. Since its founding in 2003, we have established a leading organization focused on providing surgeons innovative solutions to improve spine surgery and patient outcomes.
