Lantern Legal Recipient of Prestigious Brown Award for Legal Access: Entrepreneurs' Law Firm Awarded Meritorious Recognition at ABA Midyear Meeting
NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Natoli-Lapin, LLC, also known as LanternLegal.com, received Meritorious Recognition for the American Bar Association's (ABA) Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access at an ABA event on Friday, February 3, 2012. The Brown Award, presented by the ABA Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services, recognizes initiatives that provide innovative and affordable access to legal services for clients of moderate income who do not qualify for legal aid.
The National Conference of Bar Presidents and National Association of Bar Executives sponsored the awards luncheon, part of the ABA Midyear Meeting in New Orleans. The luncheon was attended by over 350 bar leaders from around the country. The ABA's Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services commended Lantern Legal for its ability to offer flat-rate legal services for entrepreneurs, small businesses, artists and independent inventors, and called the firm "an inspiration to others who work to provide affordable legal services."
"We are honored to receive this prestigious award," said Frank Natoli, Esq., founder and CEO of Natoli-Lapin, LLC. "Having spent most of my professional life as a grassroots entrepreneur, I understand the importance of accessible legal help."
LanternLegal.com targets entrepreneurs and small businesses among others, who cannot afford in-house counsel or the high hourly bills for full-service law firms. The firm offers unbundled, fixed-rate packages of legal services in all areas essential to an entrepreneur: start-up counseling, entity formation, contracts, agreements, internet law, and trademarks, to name a few.
