Lancaster to Host 2nd Annual Spring Buying Event at National Hardware Show(R)
NORWALK, Conn., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Lancaster, the nation's largest, national Paint & Accessories specialty distributor, will once again participate in the "Spring Buying Event," a joint effort with the National Hardware Show® to support dealers and participating exhibitors at the 2010 event (May 4-6). Those who visit the Lancaster booth in the Paint & Accessories area of the Show floor will experience the unveiling of New Products and Spring Promotional Programs.

This marks the 65th anniversary of the National Hardware Show®, which will be held May 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is completely sold out of exhibit space to manufacturers from the Home Improvement, Lawn & Garden/Outdoor Living, Tailgating and other key industries. The list of attendees promises to be one of the strongest line-up of buyers, representing not only traditional retail and wholesale outlets, but untraditional channels like grocery, mass, drug, catalog, Internet and international retailers. This includes industry giants like Home Depot, Walmart, Sears, True Value, Costco, Sam's Club, Ace Hardware and many more representing more than $237 billion in sales revenue. Attendance overall is up more than 1% over last year -- quite a feat in a challenging economy.
During the Spring Buying Event, paint buyers can purchase orders through Lancaster, which will have a booth at the Show and will be developing special promotions for attending dealers and participating vendors.
