Krystal® Announces 100% Cage-Free Egg Commitment
ATLANTA, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Krystal®, one of the South's first hamburger chains, known for its steamy, square buns, is proud to announce today a commitment to switch 100% of the eggs in its supply chain to cage-free by 2026.
"In response to consumers' changing preferences, we have informed our egg suppliers of our expectation that they fully transition to cage-free eggs by 2026," said Omar Janjua, President and CEO of The Krystal Company.
