Kroger Recalls Dill Dip Due to Possible Health Risk
CINCINNATI, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Kroger Co. said today it is recalling Kroger Special Recipe Dill Dip sold in select Kroger retail stores because the Company has been made aware by a supplier that an ingredient in the product may have been contaminated with Salmonella.
The recalled item was sold in Kroger stores in eastern Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, central and eastern Ohio, northeastern Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with the Kroger product.
Kroger is recalling the following item:
- Kroger Special Recipe Dill Dip, sold in 16-ounce containers with a sell-by date of MAR 4 10 under the following UPC code: 1111046799
Customers who have purchased the above product should not consume it and should return it to a store for a full refund or replacement.
