Kroger Names Bryan Kaltenbach President of Food 4 Less
CINCINNATI, April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) today announced Bryan Kaltenbach has been promoted to President of Kroger's Food 4 Less Division, effective immediately. Mr. Kaltenbach has held several leadership positions in the company, including his most recent role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Food 4 Less.

Mr. Kaltenbach, 54, began his career in 1973 at Alpha Beta Markets in California. He held a variety of roles at Alpha Beta, which merged with Food 4 Less in 1991. Food 4 Less was part of Kroger's merger with Fred Meyer Inc. in 1999. During his career, Mr. Kaltenbach has served in many leadership positions, including store director, district manager, and various other roles up to and including Senior Vice President of Store Operations for Food 4 Less.
Kroger's Food 4 Less Division, based in Compton, Calif., operates 146 warehouse stores under the Food 4 Less banner in southern California, Nevada, Illinois, and Indiana and under the Foods Co. banner in central and northern California.
