Kitchology Winner In 16th Annual Maryland Incubator Company Of The Year
COLUMBIA, Md., June 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kitchology, a food+wellness+tech startup headquartered in Germantown, was among the winners of this year's Maryland Incubator Company of the Year (ICOY) Awards, winning in the consumer product category.
The winners were announced Tuesday evening at the 16th annual awards held at the American Art Visionary Museum in Baltimore. The awards, chosen by a select committee of regional industry leaders and early-stage investors, recognized the achievements of current and graduated companies within Maryland's incubator community.
Kitchology has built a web and mobile app friendly, patent-pending, social cooking platform for people dealing with food allergies and special diets. At its core, Kitchology is a both a profiling engine that analyzes consumer activities, and a substitution engine that provides product substitutions and recommendations for shoppers and meal planners.
