Kirk Rimer, Co-head of Crow Holdings Capital - Investment Partners, Joins Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc.
DALLAS, Feb. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc., which provides job training and employment to persons with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions, today announced that Kirk Rimer has joined the organization's Board of Directors. Rimer currently serves as Co-head of Crow Holdings Capital – Investment Partners and brings a long track record of civic and community engagement to his new position with Goodwill of Dallas. This includes current service as a trustee for Austin College in Sherman, Texas, a Director for the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, and a Director of Shatterproof, a national organization committed to ending the stigma and suffering of addiction.

In his current leadership role at Crow Holdings Capital, Mr. Rimer helps oversee the asset allocation process of the firm's non-real estate assets and selects investment managers in both traditional and non-traditional asset classes. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rimer spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs, culminating in his service as a Managing Director and the Southwest Regional Manager for Goldman's Private Wealth Management Division. Rimer started his career with the US Navy, spending nearly a decade in the capacity of naval aviator. He serves on the Executive Board of the SMU Cox School of Business and is Chair of Cox's Don Jackson Center for Financial Studies.
