THE WOODLANDS, Texas, May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardon Outreach, a leading, national provider of revenue cycle management services, announced today that the company will launch Early Out services for self-pay patients at King's Daughters Medical Center in early July.
Cardon Outreach has provided eligibility services for more than a year to the 465-bed regional referral center based in Ashland, Ky. Within the first six months of working KDMC's accounts, Cardon Outreach increased certification dollars from $6.8M to $10.7M.
Cardon Outreach's Chief Revenue Officer, Chris Brazil, said, "King's Daughters Director of Revenue Cycle Operations, Mark Beilstein, sees the benefit to patients and the financial gain to the organization for using an integrated approach to self-pay management."
The tremendous success achieved quickly was a contributing factor to the selection of an early out service provider, but it was not the only factor.
"The deep experience that Cardon Outreach provides in patient advocacy promotes the collection of more robust data," said Beilstein. "This translates into a reduction in denials and ultimately increases patient access to appropriate healthcare programs."
"We are confident our self-pay success rate will increase through our expanded partnership because Cardon Outreach will employ the same industry-leading customer service that we have grown accustomed to over the past year and continue to utilize their proprietary technology, to capture patient information, scan hundreds of programs for eligibility, and provide data and reports back to us in ways that are meaningful to the efforts of our organization."
