KinderUSA Celebrates a Decade of Giving with Special Guest Speaker Norman Finkelstein, PhD

LOS ANGELES, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On May 5th, KinderUSA will host its tenth annual Fundraising Banquet Dinner at the Hilton Long Beach. The program promises to be a moving and inspiring one with special keynote speaker author and activist Norman G. Finkelstein, PhD.

KinderUSA is the leading, longest operating American Muslim Charity organization working on behalf of the health and well-being of Palestinian children. It improves the lives of Palestinian children through development and emergency relief by focusing on the needs of children and their families.

KinderUSA was founded ten years ago by a group of concerned humanitarians and physicians. Since then, it has endured much adversity and numerous challenges, but continues to survive and has impacted over 600,000 children and their families through its programs in Palestine and Lebanon.

The Farmer's Project enables impoverished farmers to work their lands, feed their children, while providing nutritious fresh foods to families throughout Gaza.

The Women's Cooperative in Gaza and the West Bank provides mothers who are heads of household with skills to prepare and market their own dairy products used in our annual Ramadan food baskets and further the nourishment of the community.
