Kerin Cantwell Rejoins Chadbourne & Parke Projects Group
Hiring Expands Los Angeles Renewable Energy Practice
NEW YORK, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP announced today that Kerin Cantwell has rejoined the firm as project finance counsel in the Los Angeles office.
Ms. Cantwell, who speaks Mandarin Chinese, was previously a member of Chadbourne's project finance group and worked for the firm in Asia for five years. In Los Angeles, she is expected to work mainly on renewable energy projects. Eighty lawyers work full time in the project finance group at Chadbourne, and about 60% of the work of the group at present is related to renewable energy.
During her first tour at Chadbourne, Ms. Cantwell specialized in representing developers, lenders and investors in power and other infrastructure projects in Asia. She worked on a large number of such projects in China, India, Pakistan and The Philippines.

Prior to working at Chadbourne, Ms. Cantwell was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster, where she was responsible for negotiating, drafting and analyzing documentation for private financings and corporate transactions.
She earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1989 and a B.A., cum laude, in Chinese Studies from Wellesley College in 1985.
