TORONTO, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Toronto Pearson was transformed into an island oasis today as hundreds of guests jump-started the Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival weekend with Caribbean music, food and culture.
The sound of island music filled Terminal 3 as the world renowned Bahamian Junkanoo Legends made their way through the airport, welcoming guests as they arrived in Toronto. As guests got into the island groove, Toronto chef Roger Mooking created a sampling of Caribbean fare, including salt cod fritters for guests to enjoy.
