Julian Hills Joins Eclipse Advertising as Chief Creative Officer

LOS ANGELES, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Julian Hills, a highly regarded creative executive within the advertising community, has joined Eclipse Advertising as Chief Creative Officer. Hills brings more than 15 years' experience creating cutting-edge advertising campaigns for major motion pictures, video games, and other entertainment properties. He joins Eclipse from The Ant Farm, where he founded the print division and subsequently built the division to include online, games, and home entertainment. He has been instrumental in the development and execution of film campaigns for most of the major studios as well as independent production companies. During his time at The Ant Farm, he created iconic, award-winning print campaigns for such box-office hits as the Lord of the Rings trilogy, all of the Shrek films, Bruce Almighty, King Kong, Madagascar, Dodgeball, An Inconvenient Truth, Monsters vs. Aliens, Sex and the City, The Road, Food, Inc., and The Crazies, to name just a few. He joins Eclipse Advertising effective March 8, 2010.

Prior to The Ant Farm, Hills oversaw the in-house creative print group for Universal Pictures Marketing and was previously an art director with Seiniger Advertising and served in a similar capacity at several national magazines. He has taught design at UCLA and is an accomplished artist. A native of England, he has lived in Los Angeles since he was seven and earned degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing from UCLA.
