Juice Press Announces Five New Locations to Open by Year-End Including First Store Outside of New York in Greenwich, Connecticut
NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading cold-pressed juice, raw food and smoothie company, Juice Press, continues its rapid growth through the end of the year announcing plans to open five new retail locations across New York, and its first store outside of New York in Greenwich, Connecticut. The announcement comes on the coattails of the opening of their newest location at 83 Murray Street in Tribeca catering to the growing Battery Park City neighborhood.
The first new location, opening today, is at 1474 Third Avenue (at 83rd Street) to further serve the Upper East Side Manhattan community. In November, the brand will open three additional stores, starting with a shop in Macy's Herald Square in the newly constructed Active Department - just in time for Santa; one in the Gansevoort Park Hotel answering the needs of the trendy NoMad district; and another in Brooklyn Heights to continue the expanding empire in the outer boroughs. In December, Juice Press will take its first step out of New York with a store in Greenwich, Connecticut on the heavily trafficked Greenwich Avenue. That same month, the new super store in Long Island City's Falchi Building will have expanded to over 19,000 square feet and will include a new open kitchen that will house the brand's entire food and juice production.
"These expansion plans are logical next steps for Juice Press which has already opened seven successful new storefronts this year," states Michael Karsch, Lead Investor and Chairman of the Board of Juice Press. "We knew we needed to continue the momentum of controlled growth and these strategic locations not only answer specific needs of our consumer, but continue to spread the Juice Press message of healthy living choices."
"We are thrilled to be a part of Macy's new Active Department, which underscores the desire for the consumer to have healthy grab and go options wherever they shop," says Marcus Antebi, founder of Juice Press. "The new locations at the Gansevoort Park Hotel serving residents, office-workers and travelers, and the Greenwich location as our first out-of-New York State storefront help continue to spread the word of healthy eating choices to consumers across the tri-state area."
Created in 2010, Juice Press has developed a cult following among those looking for clean eating options. Since its inception, 26 stores have opened or been announced for opening in the New York area and the brand has expanded to include delivery options to those wanting to eat clean nationwide.
