Johnson Controls Recognized for Excellence by Honda de Mexico

MILWAUKEE, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson Controls Power Solutions has received the 2009 Excellence Award from Honda de Mexico for the second consecutive year. The award was based on outstanding customer service, quality and delivery performance from Johnson Controls' Torreon automotive battery plant.

The Johnson Controls Torreon plant has an established quality and service record with Honda. The plant was recognized with Honda's Service and Zero PPM Quality Awards in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2007. It also achieved zero defects and 100 percent delivery performance for Honda de Mexico in 2008 and 2009.

Johnson Controls Power Solutions has supplied automotive batteries to Honda de Mexico since the start of Honda's vehicle production in El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico in 1995. Johnson Controls currently supplies batteries for the Honda CR-V in Mexico.
