John Paul DeJoria Named Ambassador At Large for the Islands of Antigua and Barbuda
Known Philanthropist Continues International Conservation Efforts with New Appointment
ST. JOHN'S, Antigua and Barbuda, March 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- John Paul DeJoria, global entrepreneur and philanthropist accepted the position of Ambassador At Large for the Islands of Antigua and Barbuda as presented by Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda. This appointment comes from a long-standing relationship John Paul has with the island and its community through development and conservation efforts he's initiated to benefit and enhance the islands.
John Paul, a serial entrepreneur, is often recognized for his business enterprises; however at the core of every personal and professional decision that he makes, his life motto "Success Unshared is Failure" is the driving force guiding his philanthropic activities, and his investment in the people of Antigua and Barbuda.

Especially moved by the plight of the people of this region following the Hurricane Irma devastation, John Paul worked in conjunction with the Sea Shepherd organization to direct his namesake vessel to Antigua and Barbuda to assist in moving evacuees and aid between the two islands. The vessel was also instrumental in assisting with the relief efforts in neighboring Dominica and Tortola.
