John Gumas, President of Gumas Advertising, to be Inducted Into the 2010 San Francisco State University Alumni Hall of Fame
SAN FRANCISCO, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 21, 2010, John Gumas will be inducted into San Francisco State University's 2010 Hall of Fame at a special ceremony on campus. The S.F.S.U. Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes alumni who have earned the respect of their peers through professional, cultural and civic achievements. Previous inductees include Mayor Willie Brown, actress Annette Bening, business leader George Marcus, journalist Pierre Salinger and actor Jeffrey Tambor.
"John is extremely deserving of this recognition. His tremendous contributions as a successful business and community leader exemplify what we stand for at S.F. State. He makes us very proud," said Lee Blitch, senior vice president of the university.
