Jim DeSocio Joins Relayware as Chief Revenue Officer
JERSEY CITY, N.J., June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Relayware, a SaaS-based provider of Partnering Automation software, today announced Jim DeSocio has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer.

- DeSocio brings over 20 years leading highly successful high-growth, VC-backed SaaS companies. Over the course of DeSocio's successful career he has held senior leadership positions in sales, business development professional services and international operations. In these positions, he has been responsible for company revenue growth, including new sales subscriptions, consulting service and subscription renewals.
- DeSocio also has deep experience in successful mergers and acquisitions. Notably, at XRS in anticipation of a new mobile product launch he rebuilt the sales team, including inside sales and sales development teams. The product launched in April 2013, and in 14 months DeSocio's team brought in over 360 new customers. Subsequently, on October 31, 2014 after this incredible success, XRS was bought by Omnitracs, a Vista private equity company.
- Prior to XRS, DeSocio grew direct and channel revenues at Antenna Software, a hosted mobility platform solutions company, from $8M in annual revenue to $40M in just over three years. And previously, as EVP of Global Operations at Lawson Software, he grew all company revenue, including sales, consulting and maintenance revenue in a three-year period from $313m to $428M presiding over a successful IPO in Dec of 2001. In both of these roles, DeSocio was responsible for company revenue growth, including new sales, both direct and indirect channel sales as well as consulting services.
- As part of the Relayware management team, DeSocio will oversee and drive company sales, both direct sales as well as Relayware's partner program, and he will contribute to the overall company growth strategy.
- DeSocio received his bachelor of science in business administration from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick.
