NEW YORK and BOSTON, Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) launches service to its 76th city, Charleston, South Carolina. Starting today, JetBlue will serve Charleston International Airport (CHS) with twice daily nonstop service from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and a daily flight from Boston's Logan (BOS).

To celebrate the airline's 76th destination, today through March 10, flights to Charleston from New York are on sale from $79 one way and from Boston from $140 one way for travel between March 19 and May 22, 2013 (blackout dates apply) (a). JetBlue's entrance to South Carolina has been met by such strong reception from the people of Charleston that the airline recently announced plans to add a second flight from Boston, with Saturday weekly service beginning April 6, 2013.
In addition, as part of this special sale offer, JetBlue Getaways, the airline's vacation package service, is offering three-night stays in Charleston from New York (JFK) for just $299 per person or from Boston for $429 per person (b). JetBlue Getaways provides customers with added convenience by bundling flights and hotels with car rentals and other amenities and activities.
