Jenna Young Receives Campaign US 2020 Female Frontier Honor
NEW YORK, March 4, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber Shandwick Executive Creative Director Jenna Young was celebrated as a 2020 Female Frontier award recipient at Campaign US' awards luncheon in New York today. Now in its second year, the Female Frontier awards recognize progressive, boundary-pushing female leaders across advertising, marketing and communications.
Recognized in the "Conquering Creativity" category for her creative excellence, Young has driven some of Weber Shandwick's most award-winning work in collaboration with client partners, including short-form documentary "Railroad Ties." The film used client Ancestry's unparalleled archives to bring individual historical records connected to the Underground Railroad to life as emotional stories of self-discovery – and helped a group of strangers realize their lost history and family connections.
"Jenna is a creative powerhouse and thoughtful partner to our clients – this combination has brought stories to life that don't just win awards across our industry, but resonate and create lasting impact," said Joy Farber Kolo, president, North America, Weber Shandwick. "What's more, Jenna helps nurture the next generation of creative talent in our industry, ensuring the craft will continue to evolve and mature. We are very proud to see Jenna honored in this important program, one that celebrates the leading female forces in our industry; Jenna is certainly that."
In addition to leading a team of more than 30 creative specialists in Weber Shandwick's New York headquarters, Young has served as a juror for major industry award programs including The One Show, Shorty Awards, Effie Awards and the PR jury of the Cannes International Festival of Creativity.
