NEW YORK, April 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jamie Elden has been named president and chief revenue officer of NYLON, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Marc Luzzatto, executive chairman of NYLON Media.
Elden will oversee all operations of NYLON, encompassing print, digital, content, social, e-commerce, events and NYLON's vast curated influencer network. Elden will be based in its New York City and Los Angeles offices.
Under Elden's new leadership, NYLON will make the seamless expansion across all platforms and formats with development deals for original and branded content. This will include television and premium digital originals, with emphasis on the brand's growing social media platforms.

NYLON also announced a new partnership with premier global talent and literary agency UTA. The agency will work closely with Elden to help expand NYLON's content strategy and move NYLON's offerings into other media platforms, among other initiatives.

Elden comes to NYLON from Federated Media, a Media General Company (MEG: NYSE) where he was Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Entertainment, overseeing its digital and content development business for the last five years. He was part of the acquisition team bringing the digital companies Federated Media, HYFN, and BiteSize TV in house, to build out its influencer, social and programming divisions, including the hit show Hollywood Today Live daily on FOX. During his time at Federated Media, Elden developed and grew sales and content strategies, developed an A-list influencer and content-marketing platform reaching over 100 million uniques per month, and delivered award-winning content programs for today's leading brands.
Elden's proven experience of growing business and brands through the creation of original and branded content has elevated his profile to one of today's leading thought leaders and an industry expert on content development, digital, as well as developing IP in todays market.
