Jackson Rathbone And Sung Kang To Star In Crimson Forest Entertainment's Mystery Thriller 'Pali Road'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Crimson Forest Entertainment (OTCBB: CRIM), a global independent motion picture studio, today announced Jackson Rathbone, Sung Kang, and Michelle Chen will star in Crimson's mystery thriller, "Pali Road."
Rathbone's credits include playing Jasper Hale in the highly successful, "The Twilight Saga," as well as playing Sokka in the fantasy adventure film, "The Last Airbender." He is represented by Paradigm, LINK Entertainment, and attorney Peter Nelson.
Joining Rathbone is Kang, whose credits include starring in the hit box office franchise, "Fast & Furious," and the critically acclaimed film, "Better Luck Tomorrow," in which he also served as a producer. He is represented by Management 360, WME, and attorney Rick Genow.
Michelle Chen is best known for her starring role in the movie, "You are the Apple of My Eye," for which she received the Asia Rising Star Award.
Additional cast members include Elizabeth Sung, Tzi Ma and Henry Ian Cusick. Sung is known for her role in the romantic drama, "Memoirs of a Geisha," as well as the action adventure film, "Hero." Ma is known for his roles in the comedy, "Rush Hour," the comedy, crime thriller, "The Ladykillers," and the mystery romance, "The Quiet American." Cusick is known for his roles in the hit television series, "Lost," the action drama, "Hitman," and the horror mystery, "Half Light." He is represented by Innovative Artists and Management 360.

"Pali Road" tells the story of a young woman who suffers a terrible car accident the night her boyfriend proposes to her. Based on an original screenplay written by Doc Pedrolie, production began filming in Honolulu, Hawaii this month.
Producers include Da Xing Zhang of Cuixing Media and Jon Chiew of Huace Media. Executive Producers are Grace Zhang and Geng Ling of Dadi Digital Cinema, China Film Assist and Ricardo S. Galindez and Roy J. Tjioe of Island Film Group based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is the first project in a slate of three films that Crimson is coproducing with Dadi Digital Film, China Film Assist, and Cuixing Media.
