It's Not All About The Talk
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Radio's status in Pittsburgh has been changing with the industry and the economy. The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania will start the year off with a program featuring talk show radio hosts discussing the status of their programs and their industry at noon on Wednesday, October 26, at the Engineers Club banquet room.
The panel members are:
- Lynn Cullen, who has worked on both radio and TV for over three decades and is now tackling the Internet with her show, Lynn Cullen Live, at www.PghCityPaper.com.
- Johnna Pro, new to KDKA Radio.
- Bev Smith of Pittsburgh's WGBN-AM and syndicated by American Urban Radio Networks, the only nationally syndicated black female talk show host on radio, whose show will end Oct. 28.
- Dimitri Vassilaros, who hosted shows at both KDKA and WTAE in Pittsburgh and most recently was a morning host at an FM talk station in Greensboro, N.C.
