SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Penton's IoT Emerge, a new event that targets the opportunities and challenges posed by IoT devices, platforms and services, presented by the IoT Institute, today announced Internet of Things (IoT) thought leaders will keynote Penton's IoT Emerge event, which takes place at McCormick Center in Chicago, November 2–4, 2016.

- Futurist, inventor, and noted hacker, Pablos Holman will present "Hacking the Future" on Wednesday November 2. Holman has a unique view on hacking. He believes learning can come from breaking technology as well as building it. He also thinks using a hacker's mindset could be the key to coming up with solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems. Today, he is working on futuristic invention projects at the Intellectual Ventures Laboratory.
- An executive with a successful track record of large scale, complex projects, Eric Williams leads Avnet Inc.'s global IoT strategy and is responsible for designing, developing and driving Avnet's full breadth of IoT offerings leveraging Avnet's expansive expertise, scale and scope. He will present a keynote on Wednesday, November 2. Williams has served in a number of executive leadership positions in the technology industry and most recently was a strategic advisor for CABA Technology and Moons, Inc. Previously he was with Arrow Electronics, Inc., Support Net Inc. and Bell Industries., Inc.
- Author, lecturer and business leader Timothy C.K. Chou will present the keynote "Towards a Precision Planet" on Thursday, November 3. Chou is focused on several new ventures in applications, middleware, machine learning and security for the IoT as an investor and the Chairman of the Alchemist Accelerator. He recently published a new book entitled: Precision: Principals, Practices and Solutions for the Internet of Things. During his presentation, Chou will discuss how developing economies such as Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa need infrastructure: power, water, agriculture, transportation, construction, healthcare and telecommunications. He'll provide a simple framework for IoT; the three business model implications to enterprises that build machines; and the benefits of those precision machines on the fundamental infrastructure for the planet.
- Internationally recognized expert on technology, relationships, and the power of influence, Tamara McCleary is the CEO of Thulium, an agency creating powerful brand narratives and dynamic content for maximum impact reaching targeted audiences on social media in the B2B and B2C space, will present a keynote on Thursday, November 3.
