International Merchant Advisors CEO Locates First New Wellness Centers and Medical Marijuana Clinics
KINGWOOD, Texas, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Merchant Advisors, Inc. (Pink Sheets: IMAI) www.imaiinc.com announced today that the company has identified three prospective new locations as well as possible acquisitions for the company's new Wellness Centers and Medical Marijuana clinics. IMAI intends to simultaneously pursue both an acquisition program as well as original licensing and development in a number of states where medical marijuana has not only been legalized, but is allowed to be operated on a "for profit" basis. These include Montana, Colorado, and New Mexico, among other opportunities currently being pursued.
Mel Roseman, CEO of IMAI, commented, "We are looking at a number of near term opportunities for expansion of our new Wellness Centers and Medical Marijuana clinics, and believe we will have an announcement in the near future of our first actual operations in this area. It seems that every day we are seeing more credible evidence of the value of medical marijuana as a natural alternative to prescription drugs for chronic pain patients, and we believe that this market is not only needed but a tremendous, profitable new market for the company to focus its efforts on."
