International Healthcare Technology Firm Opens New Headquarters In Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lincor Solutions Inc., a global provider of patient engagement technology to hospitals and health systems, today announced the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. Previously based in Ireland, Lincor has relocated its executive office to Music City and launched a nationwide effort to grow the company's presence in the U.S. healthcare market.

Founded in 2003, Lincor Solutions delivers its industry-leading patient engagement technology, the MEDIVista platform, to more than 120 hospitals around the globe. The technology platform allows caregivers to access and update electronic medical records, record vital signs, and share scans and test results at the bedside, helping patients better understand their condition and treatment plan. In addition, patients can use the platform to access interactive health education materials, review their discharge instructions, and provide feedback on their stay—giving the hospital real-time, actionable information about patient engagement and satisfaction. To support its U.S. growth strategy, Lincor has relocated five executive positions from Ireland to the new corporate office: chief executive officer, chief technology officer, chief financial officer, senior vice president of marketing, and senior vice president of sales. To complete its executive team, Lincor has hired Nashville native Chris Cashwell as senior vice president of global marketing and strategy. Cashwell joined Lincor from Nuance Communications, where he served as senior director of emerging technology initiatives for the company's healthcare division and led commercialization of its Clintegrity suite of solutions. Previously, he was part of the leadership team of clinical documentation firm Webmedx, which was acquired by Nuance in 2011.

The company will maintain research, product development, customer support and international sales functions at its facilities in Cork and Dublin , Ireland.
