SHENZHEN, China, Dec. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- North America's largest exhibition of UAVs, the International Drone Expo (IDE), concluded on December 12th in Los Angeles.
At the exhibition, attendees learned more about prospects and development trends while also witnessing various UAV innovations and applications. Peripheral services and accessories were also on display.
FLYPRO UAV's booth became the focus at the expo when an unexpected user showed up and addressed the crowd. A little nervous, he interrupted himself and said sorry three times while telling his story. "After suffering a heart attack, I lost control of my left hand. With a single right hand, I can't control a UAV with a remote or mobile phones. But now, I can take aerial photography with FLYPRO's XEagle UAV Smartwatch. Its one-key-control and voice-control features let me easily take photos as I did before my heart attack. This is an encouraging change and great innovation," he said.
This dramatic episode attracted the attention from a lot of media, some of which did live interviews and broadcasts at the event.
"XEagle is specifically designed for sportspeople who enjoy UAVs. It is controlled via smartwatch, with voice control, automatic obstacle avoidance and high-speed auto-follow. Taking into account the scenery and demands of movement, the purpose is to allow full movement, free your hands, let you focus on the experience while capturing every wonderful moment, at the same time avoiding any flight safety issues," said Trey, a representative of FLYPRO UAV.
