The strategic partnership enables Cigna to reinforce its goal of helping local governments improve the health and wellness of their employees and dependents, while serving as the exclusive healthcare sponsor for ICMA.

As part of the new agreement, Cigna is as an Executive-Level Strategic Partner and Diamond-Level Annual Conference Sponsor.

The agreement goes into effect immediately and covers the calendar years of 2012, 2013, and 2014.
