Intellectual Property attorney Tamara A. Head joins the Chicago office of McDonald Hopkins

CHICAGO, Sept. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tamara A. Head has joined the Intellectual Property department as an associate at McDonald Hopkins LLC, a business advisory and advocacy law firm.

Head is based in the firm's Chicago office. She joins a national team of more than 30 intellectual property attorneys and professionals. Head comes to McDonald Hopkins after nine years with a boutique firm that specializes in domestic and international trademark law.

Head has considerable experience in the area of trademark law, including licensing, domain names and unfair competition. She has assisted clients in all trademark proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, as well as oppositions and cancellations. In addition, Head has managed all aspects of international trademark prosecution, including developing and maintaining trademark portfolios for multinational corporations and midsize companies.
