Intel on Board: Jose Avalos Named to Digital Place Based Advertising Association's Board of Directors
NEW YORK, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Digital Place Based Advertising Association announced that Intel's Jose Avalos, Worldwide Director of Visual Retail, has been voted onto the DPAA Board of Directors.

Avalos is a 27-year business, marketing and engineering development veteran of the semiconductor industry. For the past six years, he has been running Intel's worldwide retail and digital signage business. He joined Intel in 1988 and has held a variety of positions there, including general manager and director of marketing for the company's Ultrawideband Networking Operation, director of marketing for the Consumer Electronics Group, end-to-end program manager for the Home Product Group and co-general manager of the TV Focus Group Operation. He was voted one of the 11 most influential executives in Digital Signage by Digital Signage Today in 2013.
