Integrated Healing Technologies Names Tod Brindle Vice President Of Clinical Affairs
NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Healing Technologies (IHT), a negative pressure wound therapy and advanced wound care company, has named Tod Brindle, PhD-c, MSN, RN, CWOCN as Vice President of Clinical Affairs. Mr. Brindle will be responsible for all clinical functions within the company.

Mr. Brindle served as the Nurse Clinician and Clinical Administrator with the Wound Care team at VCU Health's Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center (VCUMC) for 12 years. Prior to his position at VCU Health, he served in various roles at multiple prestigious institutions across the country. Tod earned a Bachelor of Science of Nursing from The Ohio State University. He graduated from the R.B. Turnbull School of Enterostomal Therapy Nursing, at the Cleveland Clinic School of Medicine, as an Enterostomal Therapy Nurse. He holds a Masters' of Science in Nursing, Administration and Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University and is completing a PhD in Nursing with a focus on Lipidomic Expression of Oxidative Stress in Deep Tissue Injuries from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mr. Brindle has held several leadership positions on committees, editorial boards and professional boards. He has earned numerous awards throughout his career including the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet National Nurse of the Year in 2013. Mr. Brindle served on the Board of Directors for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC), the ANCC Magnet Commission, and is a co-chair of the Wound Track for the National Conference Planning committee of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society.
