InMobi Taps Ex-Millennial Exec to Extend US Expansion
One Year Anniversary marks 83 million monthly US users on InMobi Ad Network; InMobi to reach 75% of all US smartphone users by end of 2011
SAN MATEO, Calif., July 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, InMobi, the world's largest independent mobile ad network, announced significant expansion plans for the US market. To help lead the company in its next phase of US growth, InMobi has tapped Peter Bassett, former SVP of Sales at Millennial Media, as their newly appointed Head of Sales for North America, bringing over 20 years of sales experience to the company. Also joining InMobi from Millennial Media is David Smith, who will be heading up InMobi's East Coast Sales. Other significant hires include Susan Kuo, former VP of Sales at Booyah, who joins as Head of Marketing for North America; and Archie O'Conner, former EVP of Business Development from MixerCast, as Head of Business Development for North America.
