In what could be the biggest domain deal of the year worldwide, Housing has acquired Housing.com, says founder, Advitiya Sharma: "We have been getting a lot of traction from prospective partners from other countries. And they are more than willing to invest in their countries initiative."
At Housing, the vision has always been to build a product of international standard, and .COM is the first step. In making this shift, Housing has clearly come into its own and seeks to push forward. The 1 year old startup already operates in 10 major cities in India and maintains a strong foothold in the market.
The .COM deal was closed at around $500k, and more investments in this direction are expected.
