In-Demand Health Care Careers to be the Focus at Carrington Colleges Group All Campus Open House

PHOENIX, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sept. 15, Carrington Colleges Group, which is comprised of Carrington College® and Carrington College® California, will host open house events at 19 campuses for prospective students to explore in-demand careers in health care fields. Although U.S. unemployment numbers continue to hover just above 9 percent, many career experts point to above-average growth projections by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for fields such as dental assisting, massage therapy and veterinary technology, all careers which Carrington programs prepare graduates to pursue.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about emerging professions as well as certificate and degree programs sought after by today's top employers. Events will feature live demonstrations by faculty, campus tours of hands-on classrooms and interactive labs, a presentation on how to finance higher education and the opportunity to meet with enrollment service representatives.
