Icontrol Networks Files Patent Infringement Lawsuits Against Zonoff and SecureNet Technologies for Infringing Home Automation Patents
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Icontrol Networks, a leader in connected home technology and innovation, announced today that it has filed patent infringement complaints against Zonoff, Inc. and SecureNet Technologies in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. The complaints seek injunctive relief to stop the further sale of the infringing Zonoff and SecureNet products and systems, and damages for the infringement of Icontrol's patents.

Icontrol currently has more than 30 connected home-related patents issued and more than 100 patents pending. Icontrol's software currently manages more than 22 million sensors and devices, and last year alone, more than 66 billion worldwide events, alerts, and commands were collected, processed, and made accessible by Icontrol solutions, representing the most widely-used connected home platform in the industry.
The complaints assert that the technology in the Zonoff and SecureNet Technologies products infringe one or more claims of Icontrol patents: United States Patent Numbers 7,262,690; 6,624,750; 8,335,842; 8,612,591 (both Zonoff and SecureNet), and 8,638,211 and 8,478,871 (Zonoff only), as well as 7,855,635; 8,478,844; and 8,473,619 (SecureNet only).
