MATAWAN, N.J., Aug. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition solutions, announced today financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016.
For the second quarter of 2016, revenue increased 45 percent compared with revenue for the same period in 2015. This marked the 11th straight quarter of revenue growth greater than 30 percent, and a continuation of profitability for more than a decade.
"Our results have exceeded our expectations and underscore two key trends: companies continue to recognize the importance of recruiting great people, and they are increasingly choosing best-to-market software to help them hire top talent," stated Colin Day, Chairman and CEO of iCIMS, Inc.
Key highlights for the second quarter and first half of 2016 include:
- iCIMS continued to expand its market share by winning customers of every size and in every industry. Some of the new customers added in the second quarter included Massage Envy, ExpressJet Airlines, City Gear, Group 1 Automotive, and Southeastern Freight Lines, among many others.
- Garnered accolades from news media, along with economic and industry analysts such as Forbes, Bloomberg BNA, Entrepreneur and The New York Times, as well as many HR trade publications. iCIMS' Hiring Trends Report has become a leading source of insight into the US economy, providing hiring companies and labor economists with useful information about labor trends in the United States.
- Honored with two Stevie Awards for outstanding customer service, a reflection of the company's commitment to matching great products with outstanding customer support to ensure customers are successful using iCIMS' products.
- Launched the first phase of UNIFi, the iCIMS developer platform that enables other developers to build and integrate applications that work seamlessly with the iCIMS Talent Acquisition Suite of software. UNIFi immediately became the largest ecosystem of third party products in talent acquisition, with more than 100 add-on products available to iCIMS customers on the first day of availability.
"iCIMS has emerged as the clear category leader and has led the way as the visionary in this space. What began as a pure SaaS applicant tracking system evolved into a talent acquisition suite that offered recruiters a full portfolio of great software designed specifically for recruiting. The combination of pure-SaaS software, a full suite of best-to-market recruiting tools, fantastic customer support and a thirteen-year history of profitability has propelled iCIMS to become the largest standalone provider in the market," added Day. "With the introduction of UNIFi, we've once again redefined the market for recruiting software by declaring that talent acquisition deserves its own platform that unifies all of a company's recruiting tools into one system. No other company has the scale, market focus and financial presence to deliver similar value to hiring companies," Day concluded.
Based on the company's success during the first six months of the year, iCIMS expects to deliver year over year revenue growth in excess of 30% for the full year ending December 31, 2016, while remaining profitable.
