CUPERTINO, Calif., Oct. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, and the Washington Redskins today announced Huawei Enterprise USA as a multi-year team sponsor and "Official Technology Partner" for the historic American football club.
The partnership includes Huawei Enterprise providing a Wi-Fi network for the Suite Level at the 85,000-seater FedExField, one of the largest stadiums in the National Football League, and represents the first major sports sponsorship for Huawei in the U.S.
Huawei brings to the Washington Redskins team extensive global experience providing networking and infrastructure solutions to some of the largest sports stadiums in the world, including Germany's Signal Iduna Park, home of soccer team Borussia Dortmund, and in the Netherlands at the Amsterdam ArenA, where the Dutch soccer team Ajax plays.

Moving forward, the two organizations will also explore additional ways to deploy Huawei technology to help create new value-added services for fans.
