HRCI And Mexican HR Association Announce Partnership To Extend Access To HRCI Certifications
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and La Asociacion Mexicana en Direccion de Recursos Humanos (AMEDIHR) announced today an exclusive partnership to promote HRCI's global credentials to AMEDIRH members and HR professionals throughout Mexico.
HRCI is the leading certification provider for the global HR profession with more than 135,000 certificants in 100 countries. AMEDIRH is Mexico's largest HR association with 12,500 member companies serving more than 1,000,000 employees.
AMEDIRH has been a longstanding supporter of HRCI and its global certifications. In 2012, several AMEDIRH members helped develop the HRBP® and HRMP® credentials. Among them was Jorge Jauregui, HRMP, Secretary General of the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA).

Interest in becoming HRCI certified has increased worldwide. In Latin America and the Caribbean, the number of professionals applying for certification grew by 34% from the first half of 2013 compared to the same period in 2014.
