HPS INC. Awarded Information Security Task Order in Support of DHS Technology Integration Program

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hancock & Poole Security Incorporated (HPS Inc.), a leading IT security consulting company announced today that it was awarded a sub-contract by Base One Technologies for information security consultation as part of the Department of Homeland Security, to modernize the agency's information security practices for protecting critical information systems.

The 3-year contract, awarded as a task order under the Department of Homeland Security's EAGLE II contract, includes a base plus four option years. The new task order is part of the DHS HQ consolidation effort at the St. Elizabeth's campus in the Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Under the new contract, HPS will continually assess and test the security posture of DHS information systems. This opportunity will allow HPS to apply their security engineering and project management logic to help strengthen national security against evolving threats. Additionally, this will provide HPS the opportunity to develop and deploy innovative technical solutions which address emerging cyber security challenges.
