Houston Cosmetic Dentist Partners with Women's Center, TCCID
HOUSTON, Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Texas Center for Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, TCCID, led by cosmetic dentist Dr. Guy Lewis, partnered with the Montgomery County Women's Center (MCWC) over the 2015 holidays.
The TCCID team spent the holidays shopping for presents and decorating the MCWC facility with mounds of donated Christmas decorations. They also contributed a symbolically decorated tree, dressed in purple and teal colors – which represent domestic violence and sexual assault, and butterfly accents – which represent new beginnings.
"Giving people a reason to smile again is the best part about my job," said TCCID's Dr. Lewis, "so this was definitely a highlight of the year. Working together as a team to help this group of people was an honor, and seeing the smiles on their faces when they saw their gifts and transformed home was a very touching experience."
For more than 30 years, the MCWC has been dedicated to providing refuge and aid for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The women and children at the center experience a myriad of different needs, ranging from emotional support and counseling to help finding a job and making ends meet.
The Texas Center for Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry offers patients cosmetic dentistry options ranging from teeth whitening to complete smile makeovers. Additionally, patients are given a luxurious environment to relax in during dental procedures.
