Hooah LLC Honored With Three ADDY Awards for OUC's Online Projects

WINTER PARK, Fla., Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Orlando-based interactive communications firm Hooah LLC took home three prestigious ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation gala awards ceremony Saturday, February 19.

The awards celebrate creative excellence in advertising. Hooah was honored for their work on behalf of the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC—The Reliable One), which employed the firm to help expand its overall online presence and reach more of its customer base. Hooah received a gold ADDY for OUC's mobile website, http://m.ouc.com, and two silver ADDYs for OUC's "Reliably Green" conservation website, http://www.ReliablyGreen.com, and the "Energy Savings Calculator" application, http://esc.ouc.com.

The "Reliably Green" website was created with the dual purpose of informing OUC's customers about energy conservation and ways to "Make Your Mark" while showcasing the utility's own green efforts in "How We Make Our Mark." It's a one-stop, 24-hour shop for energy and water conservation and rebate information for OUC customers. Hooah incorporated a full complement of social networking tools to support and spread these messages.

Following OUC's strategic initiatives, Hooah combined expert design and comprehensive programming to build and deliver the innovative Energy Savings Calculator application, which assists customers in determining the home improvements that will conserve the most energy and provides information on OUC rebates and incentives for particular home improvements.

The mobile version of OUC's consumer website enables customers to interact with OUC on the go. It maintains the fresh, inviting look of the primary website while using simple, intuitive navigation for users on a handheld device.
