Honor Partners with Lyft Ridesharing Platform
Marketing partnership integrates Lyft experience in Honor 8, opens door to U.S. campuses for Honor brand
PLANO, Texas, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Honor, a leading smartphone e-brand, and Lyft, the fastest-growing ridesharing platform in the U.S., today announced a partnership designed to get people where they are going faster. As part of their work together, Lyft's application will come pre-installed on U.S. Honor 8 devices, the new flagship smartphone unveiled last week.

The partnership goes beyond the on-device experience to also reach customers at college campuses across the country. By visiting college campuses, Honor hopes to connect with consumers and introduce them to the new Honor 8, a stylish smartphone featuring a dual camera system and fingerprint reader. With opportunities to engage with the brands and win Lyft rides and Honor 8 phones, the tour is designed to get consumers to engage with the brands in a fun and compelling way.
The partnership is a great fit for the two brands, as both Lyft and Honor cater to mobile natives, a generation of constantly connected, always-on-the-move consumers that set high standards for their mobile device experiences.
