With HFM Right Now, patients can receive prompt, high-quality virtual care for common medical conditions such as sinus infections, female bladder infections, pink eye, or cold, cough and flu—all for $35.00, payable by a credit, debit or health savings card.
HFM Right Now will be available 365 days—with provider response between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Patients start a virtual visit at https://hfmrightnow.zipnosis.com/ and complete an online medical questionnaire about their symptoms. The virtual visit is guided by the Zipnosis™ platform, and most visits take less than five minutes to complete. The results are then sent to a Holy Family Memorial board-certified clinician for review. Once the clinician completes the diagnosis, a text or email is sent to the patient notifying the patient that the diagnosis and treatment plan are ready, within an hour. If a prescription is appropriate, the patient selects a preferred pharmacy via the platform, and a prescription is sent electronically.
"Through our partnership with Zipnosis, we can provide affordable access to your local HFM providers in minutes," said Jane Curran-Meuli, COO at Holy Family Memorial. "This innovative platform allows us to extend quality care not only where patients want to receive it, but also when. We believe this will give patients a convenient, easy way to access medical care for an affordable price."
"The Zipnosis platform integrates seamlessly into our existing operations flow, and HFM Right Now services will be provided by our primary care providers who are excited to deliver this new and innovative way to receive care, at the convenience of the patient. Patients suffering from mild symptoms such as cough, diarrhea, sinus problems no longer need to travel to us for non-emergency illnesses," she added. "If a patient can't be treated virtually, the system makes it easy to get to the next level of care with us—whether it's our patient portal, an appointment or even the emergency room. We believe this is the future of healthcare, and a strategic approach to connect new patients to our health system."
"Zipnosis is quickly becoming the de facto virtual care platform in the upper midwest," says Jon Pearce, CEO and co-founder of Zipnosis. "The Holy Family team understands the profound market opportunity to be a leader in virtual care in their market. Our years of experience partnering with health systems across the country allows us to quickly help them identify and achieve their goals."
Since its inception in 2008, the company is continuing to improve patient care one click at a time – beating urgent care compliance to CDC's clinical guidelines for many of the conditions it treats. In fact, adherence to evidence-based guidelines via the Zipnosis platform is 98.4 percent for sinusitis and nearly 100 percent for UTI, while the average for urgent care centers is 70 percent.
