Holon Appoints Worth Roberts as Regional Vice President of Sales
Executive's role to drive architecture and sales of healthcare information exchange solutions to the market
ATLANTA, July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Holon Solutions, a provider of connectivity solutions to healthcare communities, today announced the appointment of Worth Roberts to the position of Vice President of Sales for the eastern region.
Roberts' primary responsibilities will be consulting with healthcare information exchanges and providers to solve the communication problems among and between electronic medical records and other systems to support the exchange of healthcare information in a sustainable way. Roberts has established a record of success in his more than 25 years of experience in healthcare IT sales and management. His responsibilities have included sales, business development, operations, sales management and 10 years as a CIO at a major medical university. Before joining Holon, he held positions with Lawson Healthcare, Healthvision, Healthcare.com, MUSC and Unisys. Most recently he served as a Sr. Account Executive with Lawson Healthcare, where he was responsible for customer support and sales for HIE accounts. In his role as CIO at The Medical University of South Carolina he also served as Associate Professor in the College of Healthcare Management. He is a Senior Fellow in HIMSS and has served on several boards including Francis Marion University, Lincoln Cultural Center, the City of Lincolnton Planning Board and is an alum of the Healthcare Information Systems Executive Association (HISEA).
